PRE PRODUCTION
PLANNING
Looking back at when we made our preliminary film i cannot find any planning, so i gathered we didn't do any or we did very little which is shocking because for our film opening we done a lot of planning. This was the first filming task we ever did so we knew next to nothing. We made various mistakes due to little planning and research, however comparing it to our final product we definitely learnt from our mistakes. When we came up with our idea for jack we drew a clear story board and wrote down various shots under each picture. We also created a presentation with the plot, actors, location etc. This helped us stay on track and made it really easy to film as we knew what we was doing.
STORY BOARD

This is our drawn storyboard for our film, we changed it a bit as we cut out the scene of going to the station instead we showed everyone make there own way to the campsite.

camera mistakes
The picture on the left was our first shot in our prelim, at this point we didn't know about the rule of third so we filmed with the character in the middle which goes against the rule. Comparing this with a shot from 'Jack' where you can see we have used the rule of third.
camera mistakes

It is not noticeable from the images but in this shot we made a huge mistake, we zoomed in to the character this made our work look unprofessional and jumpy. Therefore we was sure not to include a zoom in our final product.
